Professor Afrozul Haq is the founder Vice Chancellor of H.A. University, Imphal, and Director of Research at Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur, Prof. Haq is an eminent educationist, scientist, and social activist internationally recognized for his pioneering research on vitamin D and traditional medicine. With over 40 years of global experience across leading institutions in India, France, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, he has shaped clinical guidelines for vitamin D supplementation and chaired the International Conference on Vitamin D Deficiency, Nutrition and Human Health for eight consecutive years. A graduate of Aligarh Muslim University and postdoctoral fellow at INSERM (Paris), Prof. Haq has authored more than 170 publications and earned numerous honors, including the NRI Scientist Award and fellowship of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences.
