About the Journal
FRIS Horizons is an online quarterly periodical published in English by FRIS Charity UK: an organization dedicated to promoting human health through research, education, and community development. Subtitled “A Magazine Connecting South Asian Subcontinent Researchers”, it serves as a vibrant platform for scientific exchange, creative expression, and community empowerment, linking researchers across the South Asian subcontinent with their global collaborators. Its mission is to promote research excellence through transparent publication and collaboration, support emerging scholars via scholarships, fellowships, and mentorship, foster inclusivity by amplifying marginalized voices, celebrate creativity through art, poetry, and reflections that humanize science, and advance public understanding of biomedical and social research that improves lives.
